Privacy Policy

RemoveSubs provides AI video subtitle and text removal. This policy explains the data needed to provide that service.

Data we collect

We collect account details such as your name, email address, verification status, login sessions, IP address, and a limited device fingerprint used to prevent repeated free-trial abuse. We also store billing status, credit transactions, task status, and basic product analytics.

We do not send filenames, prompts, video URLs, email addresses, or user identifiers to product analytics providers.

Uploaded videos

Your browser uploads source videos directly to a private Cloudflare R2 bucket through a short-lived signed URL. The service creates a separate signed read URL so WaveSpeed can process the video for automatic subtitle and text removal. No text prompt is required.

Uploaded sources expire after 24 hours under the source bucket lifecycle. Successful results are copied to a separate private R2 bucket and retained for 7 days on Free, 30 days on Starter, 60 days on Creator, and 90 days on Studio. You may delete a task and its stored media earlier from your workspace.

AI processing providers may retain provider-side outputs for their documented retention windows. RemoveSubs copies results to private storage as soon as processing completes.

• Cloudflare D1 stores RemoveSubs account and business records.

• Cloudflare R2 stores private source and result media.

• Cloudflare Workers hosts the application and its scheduled maintenance jobs.

• WaveSpeed processes videos for subtitle and text removal.

• Better Auth manages authentication.

• Google provides optional sign-in.

• Creem processes payments and receipts.

• Resend sends verification, password reset, and security messages.

We do not sell personal data and do not use uploaded videos to train our own models.

Your choices

You may update your profile, delete stored tasks, or request account deletion. Some payment records may be retained when required for tax, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
